Yes. Eligible Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above can use their available base-tier SkillsFuture Credit for the NCSF Certified Personal Trainer course in Singapore.
The course is listed under:
Course: NCSF Certified Personal Trainer
Training provider: Edu PT Pte. Ltd.
Course reference: TGS-2023020428
You should still check the exact course intake on MySkillsFuture before registering, as eligibility periods can change.
There are two main tiers of SkillsFuture Credit:
| Credit type | Can it be used? |
|---|---|
| S$500 base-tier SkillsFuture Credit | Yes, subject to your remaining balance |
| S$4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) | Not currently eligible for this course |
The base-tier credit is available to Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above and does not expire.
However, S$500 is the original allocation, not necessarily your current balance. If you have used some of it before, you can only apply the amount remaining in your account.
The NCSF Certified Personal Trainer course costs:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Course fee before GST | S$999 |
| Course fee including GST | S$1,088.91 |
| Less S$500 SkillsFuture Credit | S$500 |
| Remaining amount | S$588.91 |
This example assumes you still have the full S$500 base-tier credit available.
The fee includes the digital textbook, e-learning resources, practice questions, instructor support, certification examination and a two-day hands-on practical workshop.
You can see the complete breakdown in our guide to the cost of becoming a personal trainer in Singapore.

For example, someone with S$500 of available SkillsFuture Credit and S$250 of available UTAP support could bring the effective cost down to approximately S$338.91.
This is an illustration, not a guaranteed fee. The final amount depends on your SkillsFuture balance, NTUC membership, remaining UTAP allocation and claim approval.
Check these three things first:
How much base-tier SkillsFuture Credit you have left
Whether your intended intake is currently eligible
Whether you also qualify for NTUC UTAP
This will give you a clearer idea of your actual out-of-pocket cost.
